I love this Chicco chair! It lives in our van and we have used it over and over and over again in restaurants, at the grandparents’ houses, and even on picnic tables. Once you fit the three pieces together, you can slide the “hooks” onto the table top, then just screw the bottom bit tight to stabilize the chair.
It is easy to adjust for different tables, although depending on the thickness of the tabletop or obstruction under the table it can sometimes be awkward to get on and there have been a couple of tables on which it has not fit. But the pros definitely outweigh the cons. For example, the whole fabric bit comes off of the frame and is able to be tossed in the washing machine. This was definitely a bonus one day when my daughter’s diaper was no match for what came out of her body! I much prefer this to using a restaurant high chair or trying to stuff hot food in my mouth as fast as possible with my baby in my lap!
FYI, I find navigating the Chicco site to be an exercise in frustration, but you can also find the chair at Babies R Us.

I myself so not have a child, however, when I went out for dinner with my niece and her parents, they pulle dthis chair out, which I had never seen before. I thought it was fantastic! It seemed so easy to put onto the table and so easy to transport. What a nice alternative to using the high chairs they have at the restaurant, who knows how often those things are cleaned!
I think this is such a great product, and would be a wonderful gift to give!
Thanks for the comment. Glad your niece likes it, too!
