Keep Your Conscience Free and Clear with Seventh Generation Dish Washing Liquid

Have you ever noticed how dish soaps come in a variety of delicious scents and colours these days? Have you also noticed that the fragrances seem to attach to plastic items that you clean? I can’t count the number of times I could very faintly taste an apple orchard in my water bottle or some citrus grapefruit in my pasta, and it always left me with one question… What other chemicals are clinging to the sides of the plastic, and how much of it are we ingesting when we eat or drink from plastic containers?  Even more worrying, how much is my newborn ingesting when she drinks from bottles and uses pacifiers that have been cleaned with these petroleum-based (aka: traditional) dish soaps?? These questions are what inspired my hunt for an effective non-petroleum based dish soap, which is also free of perfumes and dyes.

Seventh Generation Free and Clear Natural Dish Liquid is non-toxic, biodegradable, hypo-allergenic, septic tank-safe, phosphate free, perfume free, dye free, and not tested on animals (WOW!). Its cleaning agents are derived from plants, not petroleum, and it’s just as effective as any other dish soap on the market! It retails about $5/bottle, approximately twice as much as traditional dish soaps, but I would like to meet a mom that does NOT think an extra $2 is worth it to ensure their baby’s bottles are toxin-free! A very small price to pay for piece of mind, a cleaner environment, and flavourless Tupperware.
