Talk About a Sassy Caterpillar

Sassy, the makers of Leap Frog, have done it again… the Happy Caterpillar is a part of Sassy’s Earth Bright line, and it is one amazing little critter!  This eco-friendly plastic-free toy has all the developmental functions that you would look for in a baby toy.  Host to a variety of different textures, the body of the toy is made up of fleecy fabric, satin ribbon, crinkly corduroy, and polished wood.  The happy little head squeaks when squeezed, the bum rattles when shaken, and the wood blocks clank when pushed together.

In addition to the above listed features, this toy hosts one major bonus – it is perfect for little hands to hold on to!  I have found that many of the newborn (0m+) toys on the market are too large and heavy for my daughter’s little hands to grasp, but not this one… she loves to pick it up and explore all that it has to offer.
