One of my favourite ‘Maddie memories’ involves her Kaloo 123 Musical Mobile. From its gorgeous wood design to its sweet little fuzzy friends, this mobile was a hit with her since day one. Even when she was only a month old (long before she was even sleeping in her crib), we would place her in her crib and gather around to watch her as she followed her friends around and around and around. The whole family used to crowd into her little nursery with their cameras and video recorders, we would then crank up the mobile and wait for a chance to see her smile and kick her little legs with excitement.
To add to its charm, our mobile plays an adorable lullaby version of “Edelweiss” from the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic musical, The Sound of Music. A nice change from the usual baby lullabies. However, from what I have been able to find on the internet, it appears that this year’s version of the 123 Musical Mobile plays Simon and Garfunkel’s “Bridge Over Troubled Waters”.
The best part is that the mobile’s fuzzy friends are featured over and over again throughout the entire Kaloo 123 product line. We bought Maddie one of the Kaloo 123 Pram Spiralou’s so that she could take her friends with her wherever she went!
