It isn’t always easy to find children’s music that you don’t mind playing over, and over, and over, and over again. But I have found one of the rare gems out there that is truly enjoyable to listen to: Bobs and Lolo Musical Adventures.
The benefits of Bobs and Lolo’s Musical Adventures are three-fold. 1. The music is so upbeat, you will want to bop around along with your kids – helping to cut out some guilt for missing your workout! 2. Their lyrics are aimed at connecting kids with nature and really encourage being active and adventurous – and we all know they need the encouragement these days. 3. The music is good – really good. The other day, a non-kid girlfriend came by while S and I were dancing around to Musical Adventures. After a while, I noticed that it was still playing in the background and I realized my friend might not be enjoying the tunes as much as I was. So, I apologized and went to change the playlist, when she commented that she didn’t even realize it was kids music!
On the Bobs and Lolo website you will find song lyrics, descriptions of all their CDs and DVDs (which contain music videos), a list of retailers you can purchase their merchandise from, and a whole lot more.
Not a day goes by when S doesn’t wave her arms in the air and ask, “Dance? Dance?” which is her way of requesting Bobs and Lolo. Too cute!
