Blabla: Anything but Blah

blabla

There are many reasons I love Blabla dolls; they are vibrant, soft, and cuddly, and Peruvian artists hand-make them with all natural fibers grown in Peru.  But best of all, they inspire the imagination.  Each doll seems to be a character in a playful adventure story, and if my 30-something mind is able to come up with these stories, just think about what the mind of a young child will do!

If you haven’t yet, you really should check out the Blabla collection.  They have everything from dolls (in various sizes), to finger puppets, rattles, mobiles, and more.  And their entire collection holds the same attraction as their doll line does.

While I was checking out their site, I had a read through the About Blabla section and was tempted to quit my day job  to go join their forces!  The two founders, Susan Pritchett and Florence Wetterwald, seem to operate a family business more than a company.  Maybe I’m easily sucked in by all the smiling staff pictures, but they do seem very friendly, and the company takes pride in practicing fair trade with artisans in Peru, so what’s not to like?
