Learning ABC’s With I See Me

I see me fairy tale

It is a very exciting time for children entering preschool or kindergarten.  They are learning all about independence, and discovering a little more of their own identity every day.  Learning how to spell their own name is an important accomplishment for these kids.   I See Me Inc. has created two wonderful books that will help your child learn how to spell his or her name.  These personalized books (My Very Own Name, which is gender neutral, and My Very Own Fairy Tale, geared towards little girls)  introduce each letter in your child’s name one by one using an engaging story that is accompanied by beautiful illustrations.  Although some of the vocabulary may be above their heads (I had never heard of an ursinia flower before reading this book!), your child will still get loads of enjoyment from the fact that the characters are spelling his or her very own name.

I See Me Inc. has a fascinating book for older children as well.  If you have or know any children who love to draw, paint, sketch, etc., then you may be interested in I See Me Inc.’s The World According To Your Child book.  There are a few interview questions for you to ask you child including: Who are the special people in your life? What type of super hero would you be? and What do you want to be when you grow up?  Your child answers these questions and then does the illustrations for each page.  All you have to do then is send in your child’s illustrations and interview answers, and I See Me Inc. will create a professionally printed and bound book of all the pages!

All of these books would make a great back to school gift.  Each book costs $29.95 US and can be ordered through the company’s website or at one of the retail locations listed on I See Me Inc.’s site.
