It’s hard to feel sexy post-pregnancy. Your shape is different, you’re carrying extra weight (often in new places), and if you’re breast-feeding you feel somewhat akin to a cow – and let’s be honest, cows ain’t exactly sexy.
And I desperately wanted to feel (at least a little bit) sexy. So it’s no surprise that I became ridiculously excited when I discovered the Hot Milk line of nursing and maternity lingerie. Initially, I was looking for a nursing tank, but none of them provided the support that I need as an, ahem, larger breasted woman. Then I spied the Hot Milk camisole (pictured above).
Damn! This little lace and spandex combo is smokin! Wider straps for support, fold down cups for easy nursing, a slight control layer for smoothing out the tummy, and it looks fantastic. It’s great for layering under sweaters and wrap dresses (making normal clothes nursing friendly) or if you’re a bit bolder, like me, wear it as a top with a black skirt or pants for a very sexy look.
After all we go through to have babies, we deserve to look and feel sexy again, and I think the folks at Hot Milk definitely have our backs (and fronts!).
