I recently came across this fabulous website that I just HAVE to share with you all... Saplings is dedicated to helping moms find sustainable children’s gifts and room decor, featuring (of course) many of Spilt Milk Moms favourites (including Homeworks Etc. , CiCi Art Factory, and 3 Sprouts).
Sometimes figuring out if products are eco-friendly or not can be difficult. We all know that labels are not always honest, and advertising can be very misleading. Well, Saplings does all the dirty work for you. The website’s concept is that it only features products that are produced sustainably. Before selecting a product to feature, Saplings investigates each product to determine how they are made, from start to finish, to ensure each step fits within an eco-friendly footprint. All of the products featured on Saplings are made from recycled or recyclable inks, fabrics, and adhesives, and they give favour to products that have been made using local supplies and materials. They try to focus on timeless and pass-downable pieces, to allow them to be used for generations to come (no Elmo or Dora here folks!).
And I like their motto so much, that I just have to share it with you too!
