When I found Bang On The Door’s Funky Chunky Animal Block Book Tower at my local Chapters store, I instantly fell in love. The fresh and modern designs and the funky colours were so refreshing and eye-catching.
Four books come in each set, and each of the books features a different animal theme including farm, sea, wild, and garden. Each page displays an animal with its name and one or two cutesy little descriptors about what sounds the animal makes, how the animal feels, what the animal eats, etc. Some of the little descriptors are so hilarious that we love reading them more than Maddie does!
And they are so much more than just books… because of the ‘block’ style, they can be used as both toys and books. When Maddie was about 6 months, she liked playing with the books as blocks, but now at 18 months old, she likes to flip through them as books and practices saying the animal’s names.
