By now you all probably know about my obsession with green cleaning products, and I have to say Norwex truly takes the cake! Norwex is a line of cleaning products based on not using traditional cleaners at all! The company has created a line of microfibre cleaning cloths (which collect more dirt and grime than regular clothes), which have SILVER filaments woven into the fabric (allowing them to act as an antibacterial agent). The end result: you use the cloths with water ONLY and you can clean your house – from top to bottom – without any chemicals.
Norwex cleaning clothes include the basic cleaning cloth (Antibac Enviro Cloth), and then there are variations on this standard cloth for special purposes including a Window Cloth (for polishing windows and mirrors), an Antibac Microfibre Mitt for dusting (say bye-bye to those disposable Swiffer sheets), and a Dry and Wet Mop Pad (no more chemical residue on your floor!). All the dusting and sweeping products are electro-statically charged (similar to Swiffer products), so they hold onto the dirt and dust that they collect and they are reusable!
For beyond your home cleaning needs, Norwex has a line of micro-fibre clothes designed for you and your family. Using the same technology as the cleaning cloths, Norwex also has a line of Bath & Body Cloths. I LOVE using them for Maddie before and after meals … I can wipe her hands with the cloths, and I know they are clean, REALLY clean, unlike when you use soap or store-wipes and have no idea what kind of residue is being left behind on your child’s hands. There is also a travel pack of cloths so that you can take them with you everywhere you go – to the park, restaurants, gymnastics, etc. There are four different coloured cloths in a pack, so it works out well for multiple children – you can assign each child their own color! Just get them wet before you leave the house and carry them in their carrying pouch. You’ll have bacteria-free hands without using chemical soaps or alcohol based sanitizers – a diaper bag must-have!
For the tougher jobs, Norwex does offer a line of natural cleaning products that you can use to enhance the benefits of the micro-fibre cloths. They also have a line of organic body products and a fabulous line of kitchen products. One of my kitchen faves is the liquid dish soap, which I use as a stain remover on Maddie’s clothes and it gets EVERY stain out, EVERY time.

I’d love to win because my daughter and I have a lot of allergies, so this would be a great alternative to harsher cleansers!
These products sound great! I have been trying to change the household over to non-chemical cleaners especially, since my sons birth. I really want to make the house as safe as I can, for my little guy.
I would love to use these products around the house mainly because of the health implications for my two daughters… a chemical-free environment should decrease the risk of various health conditions such as allergies and asthma. Our pet cat should also be kept safe from hazardous products.
We stopped using conventional toxic products (cleaning and personal products)in our house a few years back. We have no problems having a clean house and I love it. Safer for us and the environemnt!
I would like my house to be chemical free because I have a 1 year old who is always putting everything he can grab in his mouth. I worry that he will pick up something that has been sprayed with a chemical cleaner.
I would love to win because my new years resolution was to be more environmentally friendly and this would help.
I hate the thought of using harsh chemicals in cleaning and I am always up for trying a new environmentally friendly product. The wipes for cleaning kids hands sounds great.

My daughter has asthma and eczema and we see an immediate reaction when we use chemical products.
baby is crawling now… and suddenly everythjing seems dirtier than it was before, and i dont want him chewing on chemicals either!
Wow, Norwex is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I were to sell anything it would be this product. I LOVE being able to clean my shower while I’m in it…..No cleaner. Just use an anti-bac cloth or the new bathroom mitt! Cleaning is just easier and funner than ever before!!!!
I have an active family that includes pets so I’m only using green chemicals to clean with.

because my dog licks EVERY surface, especially floors, so when i use a swiffer wet jet I wonder what its doing to him
Hey Chris – Emily here, my sister was told by her vet the other day that Swiffer wet jets are POISONOUS to dogs – it has anti-freeze in it (YIKES! A whole other post!) so be careful!!!
I want a chemical free house—because I want a chemical free world–and it has to start somewhere might as well be with me. I understand that the chemicals I use end up in landfills and down the drain–they don’t just magically disappear –I expose other people and animals and plants and the earth to the chemicals I use.

oh yes my little dog. I love him to bits and he licks his paws and walks on our hardwood and tiles. I only use all natural, non hazardous pet friendly products on the floors as well.He means the world to us, and in a few weeks our baby will be here so I want to protect them both!!
My son puts everything in his mouth so, using chemically free cleaners would help to put my mind at ease.
I am sensitive to smells – drives me nuts to smell all the phony scents out there between personal care prducts and home cleaning products. Nothing beats the smell of real, fresh lemon!!!I don’t think enough people realize what is in the candles they burn, the lotion they put on, or the cleaner they use on their counters.
My husband has the stomach flu and besides me wanting him to get better all I can think about is the rest of us not getting it. I think keeping the house clean, is probably a good place to start.
Thanks for hosting a great giveaway! I’m buying a little puppy soon, and I don’t want her licking any chemicals off the floor… that’s how my parent’s dog got so sick. She’s now on permanent medication for her condition.
I feel better knowing that my family is safe and clear of harsh chemicals. It is ok to make a sandwich on the counter and eat it safely!
With all the crawling on the floor my little guy does, it would be nice to have the floors cleaned with something I know won’t harm him.
I want my house chemical free because I worry about long term effects of chemical exposure. And of course, I want my kids to be as healthy as possible!
i need safe and clean floors for my crawler!
I also dont like the idea of toxic chemicals getting into the water supply. we live very close ( 2 blocks) to the ocean and the thought of the run off of pesticides from peoples lawns alone upsets me. And dont even get me started on the blue toilet cleaner that so many people like to use.
Would love to live in a world where I don’t have to constantly worry about what is in every product. These products sound like they would help with not having to worry so much.
I want my house chemical free because I can’t stand the smell of bleach and other cleaners. I would rather live with dirt than clean with dangerous chemicals.
There is something about middle age and the desire to prolong life. LOL… And I strongly feel that chemical exposure can reduce your life expectancy. By how much, we will never know since everyone is exposed to differnt chemicals at different stages in their lifes. I say that is good enough reason!
I worry about the effects of chemicals on my family so, would love to add to my collection of chemical free cleaners.
I want my house to be chemical free b/c there’s just so much in life you can’t control as far as what you’re exposed to – it would be nice to have a safe haven
I would love to use these products because I want a clean safer house from my baby free of nasty chemicals!
thanks for the opportunity to discover these good for the planet items1

In our household of 5, 4 have allergies. So many cleaners now have harsh chemicals that I don’t want to use
I had never given thought to all the yucky chemicals I had in my home until I had a baby. She is about to start crawling, which means she is going to be into everything. While we’ve got some green cleaning stuff, we need to get rid of everything that’s toxic! These cloths sound really awesome!
The day I found out I was pregnant, I began to eliminate all chemicals from my household. My husband and I both agreed to leave a greener earth for our son by using Eco-friendly products:) Cool contest, thanks!!
i want my house to be chemical free to ensure my family’s health!
I’d love to be chemical free because I have a toddler in the house! And no matter how many times I try to explain why we don’t eat things we pick up off the floor, she doesn’t seem to get it. I’d like to at least not have to worry about what chemicals she’s ingesting on top of the lint!

I want to be chemical free because I will feel better about my cleaning. And it will be much better for the environment.
