One of the things that I’m still trying to get used to post-baby is how different my body is. Despite losing the baby weight and then some, hitting the gym, and running regularly, nothing seems to be the same. Although I should probably try to come to terms with my new body, my first instinct is just to hide it (I apply the same idea to dirt in my house 
, so when I was sent a pair of Sassybax Shapewear Leggings to try I was intrigued and (to be totally honest) a little skeptical.
I mean this is a legging that promises:

So I pulled them on (if you own Spanx, then you know how much this process resembles stuffing a sausage) and you know what? My ass? Looked AMAZING! I looked firm and trim and definitely the opposite of doughy. So to really put them to the test, I pulled on a pair of jeans that I couldn’t even come close to doing up. With the Sassybax on, I could do them up and although they were snug they were definitely wearable. Over the next few months I wore them on and off and I love them (amazing for traveling too – so comfortable and no waist pudge!). My only problem seemed to be that the kind of tops that one tends to wear with leggings ended up making me look pregnant (a look I’m hoping to avoid for a couple more years), so I tended to wear them more as tights with boots, but that’s my issue with fashion (and my boobs) rather than with the product. In fact, I’m planning on trying other Sassybax styles (like the Armed & Dangerous to take care of those dreaded bingo wings!). Now, Sassybax’s Shapewear Leggings aren’t as cheap as regular leggings ($68US), BUT they are shapewear and they do work wonders. If you’re someone who wears leggings regularly and are is looking to make yourself look trimmer, then these are worth their weight in gold. I’m a spanx lover and would love to try the Sassybax! I really like the slip in the pretty collection but for sure would need leggings as a staple in my wardrobe.
