Broody Chick is an awesome local company which strives to create environmentally friendly products that are also good for the whole family, including those with sensitive skin. The company uses natural ingredients from local suppliers for their products, and donates a percentage of their profits to the Victoria Hospital Foundation child care and neo-natal units.
Bug Be Gone is Broody Chick’s newest product, and it contains “a soothing blend of oils and butters to help calm and moisturize sun sensitive skin, with essential oils to help keep those biting bugs at bay.” Some of the ingredients include almond oil, shea butter, calendula oil, lavender, Chamomile Roman – there are only 14 in total and the lotion smells AMAZING. While Broody Chick does not guarantee that Bug Be Gone will keep ALL the bugs away, the essential oils contained in this lotion are known bug deterrents and it’s a great chemical-free, natural option for those of you looking for an alternative.

I would love to try the bugbegone on my 6 1/2 month old because we are going camping the 2nd weekend June. I recall that the area we are going camping in can be quite buggy so protecting my little guy is a priority. I am currently researching what bug repelant and sun screen to use on him. I would love to try this one!! When we return from camping I can definitely provide feedback on the product.

I love to take my grandkids for walks in the summer- not having to battle bugs would be great! No problem on feedback.

I’d love to try Bug Be Gone…every summer I always get these huge mosquito bites that take forever to go away. Yes, for sure I’ll be reporting back with feedback!
I, like Filene, live near a bog of eternal stench and require a bug spray that will save the child from constant itching and smelling like DDT.
We spend so much time outdoors and once mosquito season hits we will need something to protect out little one. All of the products look great and we can provide feedback by the date indicated.
I would love to try Bug Be Gone, because I don’t like the Deet based products (would rather risk going without) and the bug jackets we have look somewhat silly as well as get warm. We camp, hike and spend tons of time outside in the summer so an alternative would be nice. I can definitely provide the feedback in the required time frame.
I would love to try this because we do A LOT of camping and I have a vacation coming up from June 7th until the 24th. Not only do we camp a lot we also visit the playground every day and this would be awesome to wear there as well. I can provide honest feedback by June 28th no problem!

We have these horible gnats and mosiquitos too. I have tried e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. Nothing has stopped the gnats. So I would be happy to write about my experiences with this product.
I would like to try bug be gone because. Mosquitos just love my skin. Also my kids are just skitish about any bug even the tiniest ones.
I would love to try bug b gone as my little ppl are so active and always on the go my son and daughter have such sensitive skin that everything else I have tries leaves dry skin and hurts in the case of a re-apply I would love to try it

I’d love to try this product for my son this summer. At preschool, they spend more time outside now and require us to bring bugspray to apply on our kids. I’m wary of putting harsh chemicals on my little one, so I’d love to try this!

I want to use this because we love to sit outside in the evenings, and every week we go to baseball where the bugs are just crazy over there!!
