Modern Bloomers For Your Little Flower

It’s been a while since I’ve been swept off my feet by a piece of children’s clothing, but these days I wake up every morning hoping it’s a Playpants kinda day.  CHECK OUT these modern bloomers by Vancouver company Playpants and you’ll know exactly why I’m so excited to share these with you.

The details:

  • Playpants are modern, fashionable, funky, fabulous, fun and fancy bloomers!
  • They can be used as diaper covers (cloth and disposable), but don’t underestimate the versatility of these bloomers.  Your child can wear them over onesies and tights or with t-shirts and dresses, and now that summer is finally almost here they are perfect for wearing just on their own, too.
  • The company uses either durable 100% cotton or Eco-friendly recycled hemp and organic cotton blends in the production of their bloomers, AND they’re made right here in Canada!
  • Playpants are for both girls and boys and there are a variety of prints to choose from – some just for boys, some just for girls, and some for both to choose from.  Select your favourite from one of the following lines: Playpants Original (no frills or gimmicks – just beautiful fabrics) – $15.95, Playpants Dressed (fancy pants!) – $21.95, Playpants Organic (Eco-friendly) – $18.95, and Playpants Naturally Dressed (the organic version of the Dressed styles) – $24.95 (all in Canadian dollars and available through the company’s website).  I promise you’ll have trouble trying to decide on a pair!
  • In case you’re hoping that these bloomers come in your size, they do not.  Playpants are for children wearing diaper sizes one to five and weighing eight to twenty-seven plus pounds (about ages zero to twelve months and over).  If you order a pair and find that the fit isn’t right, the company gives you thirty days to return them for exchange or refund.

I was sent a pair of Playpants to put to the test on my little Miss Charlotte (thanks for the “tea party”, Rachel!), and she has been wearing them at every opportunity ever since.  The only way Charlotte could be any cuter in her bloomers would be if she actually had the cute little pudgy legs and bum that is standard on most babies, but even so they fit perfectly and she looks SO cute.  I like to pair her bloomers with a white button-up onesie, put them on under her little jean dress, or have her wear them just on their own with her sunhat (and sunscreen, of course).

Here’s to hoping tomorrow will be another Playpants day!
