While my son lived in a bib as an infant to combat his projectile vomiting problem (so uncool), little miss Charlotte was gifted cutest little Drool Bandana in a pink floral fabric, and it is the most fashionable and functional accessory she currently owns. Not only does it look nice around her neck (she looks like a little bandit when it rides up her face), when Charlotte does upchuck in the car seat and I use the bandana to wipe her face, the pattern hides the mess and I get away without washing it for several days. Mally Bibs truly are The Ultimate Baby Bib. They are functional, easy to clean, and adorable!  Say bye-bye to sticky, mouldy plastic bibs and the endless laundry piles of cotton bibs.  The adjustable magnet clasp makes them easy to put on, because tying a string around the neck of a squirmy toddler with long hair is [...] I know my daughter is fairly well advanced in most areas. No, she’s not the genius her grandparents think she is, but I like to think my husband and I have done a good job of keeping her development on track…except for one department. We have been really resistant to let her feed herself with utensils. We like to blame it on the dog – one look at those puppy-dog eyes and she tosses her food right to him. But really, I know deep down we just don’t like to deal with the mess. So now that she is almost two, I think we need to let her at it. That is why I’m loving My Plate-Mate. Any time I need two minutes of silence I break out the Mum-Mum’s, and it works every. single. time. Restaurants, grocery stores, doctors offices… the list is endless. Needless to say, I get really bummed when I open a pack of Mum-Mum’s just to find them broken to bits inside. Not only does the powder turn to goo when it meets water or saliva, but it’s also much harder to feed little bits to a baby then just handing them a whole rusk. My love affair began with the Melamine Dish Sets, specifically the Garden Tumbler Set shown above. So sweet, simple, and safe, for when your wee one is learning to use a ‘big-kid’ cup. All of their melamine products are BPA free, shatter proof, dishwasher safe, and they conform to all the highest US and European safety standards. But most of all, I LOVE that you can get matching accessories in the same theme: bibs, place mats, lunch boxes, plates, bowls… the list goes on and on. Once I get in the house (and as long as my daughter is willing to give me a few minutes to sit down on my own) I have to flip through and see what great ideas it has for me. This Martha Stewart publication is full of great stuff about food (obviously) and I feel like it is designed for the everyday person. You don’t have to be a Martha-Stewart-type to pull these recipes off. Most of the recipes use ingredients that are health conscious, medium to low in cost, and easy to find in a regular grocery store. [...] If you have a toddler or know someone with a toddler chances are you know what a wonderful snack oat ring cereals are. (OK, who am I kidding. You know I’m talking about Cheerios.) They are not too messy, easily transportable, and fairly nutritious. They are a million times better than my old favourite, Fruity Pebbles, but I have recently discovered a more favourable alternative: Heinz Nutrios.
