A Plateful Of Tradition

The entire time I was growing up four of the above plates used to watch over us from their position on the stairs. I don’t know how old I was when I first noticed them but eventually I realised that each of the plates recorded the details of my sisters and my births. My father had been in the UK merchant navy when I was born and discovered the plates whilst on a stopover in Holland, my mom loved them and despite emigrating to Canada they sent home and had them made for my sisters. I love the traditional blue & white Delft china and really wanted to carry on the tradition with my own family but wasn’t sure if I would still be able to find them. Fabulous Penny People Designs Give-Away! – Updated

Every now and then I stumble across something and love it soooooooooooooooooooooo much that it becomes my “it” present for that year. When I first saw the above Alphabet Prints by Penny People Designs I knew I just had to buy one for our little daughter-to-be and for every single child I knew!
